Job Description:
UE06: £33,882 – £39,105
School of Biological Sciences – Institute of Ecology and Evolution
Full time: 35 hours per week
Fixed term: 12 months
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments and genetic analyses related to insect reproductive genetics
- Assist with ongoing research on chromosome behavior in insect study systems
- Maintain lab operations and equipment
- Collaborate with team members and provide training when necessary
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field
- Experience in molecular wet lab techniques, cytogenetics, and microscopy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience with ChIP-seq/Cut&Tag, RNAi experiments, FISH/in situ hybridization is advantageous
