The Opportunity
This position has overall accountability for completing the manufacturing tasks as scheduled while in full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and Roche’s corporate principles, quality policies, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare small equipment and solutions
- Monitor and operate biochemical processing equipment
- Maintain housekeeping of work areas
- Support process improvement efforts
- Operate computers for process control and data entry
Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering discipline, Diploma, NITEC, or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving and team skills
- Focus on safety, quality, and results
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with computer-based systems
- Background in microbiology, fermentation, or protein purification desired
Preferred Qualifications
- Compliance with Safety, Health & Environmental requirements
- Supporting the Biochemical Manufacturing Department
- Embodying continuous improvement mindset
Expected to: Carry heavy loads of up to 25kg
