Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join our team in Glasgow at the West Scotland Science Park. The ideal candidate will have a HNC, BSc, or MSc in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
- Performing laboratory work and executing various techniques
- Ensuring smooth laboratory operations by ordering necessary materials and maintaining equipment
- Adhering to GxP regulations, reviewing documentation, and preparing reports
- Expanding skills through learning new methods, supporting audits, and training other operators
Requirements:
- HNC in scientific discipline or BSc or MSc in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or related discipline
- You have previous experience working in a laboratory environment ideally contact testing services
- The ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and multitask
- You possess good communication and written skills and has good attention to detail
- Being a team player and the ability to follow correct procedures and quality standards
