Scientist Job Description

- Experience designing and executing technically rigorous experiments.
- Familiarity with cell culture, primary immune cell isolation, and flow cytometry.

Key Responsibilities – Scientist Job

- Investigate dynamic changes in immune composition and cross-talk during disease progression from SLE to lupus nephritis.
- Conduct in vivo mouse model experiments including mouse breeding, handling, surgical procedures, and end-point sample harvesting while ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements.
- Design, perform, optimise, and analyse high-parameter flow cytometry experiments across mouse and human tissues.
- Conduct in vitro wet lab experiments such as fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS), primary immune cell culture, and immunofluorescence staining.
- Handle and manage human clinical samples according to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with researchers to establish and analyse large sequencing datasets including TCR-sequencing and spatial transcriptomics.
- Analyse data using FlowJo, R, Python, and bioinformatics tools.
- Mentor students and junior researchers within the laboratory.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary collaborators across Singapore.
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator (PI) to align research priorities and project milestones.
