Job Description
The Scientist jobs at Thermo Fisher Scientific involve providing hands-on laboratory assistance to support preformulation, materials science, and compounding activities for small molecule, peptide, and antibody drug development projects. Responsibilities include maintaining laboratory equipment, performing calibrations and verifications, and preparing vehicles, buffers, and solutions as needed. The role also involves assisting in studies such as solubility, characterization, and preclinical formulation development to support the selection and optimization of developable candidates.
Scientist Jobs – Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on laboratory assistance for preformulation and compounding activities.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and perform necessary calibrations.
- Assist in studies related to solubility and characterization.
- Create and manage documentation for study planning and laboratory inventory.
- Collaborate with other lab scientists to prepare samples.
- Prepare solvents, standards, and buffers while adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Scientist Jobs
- Bachelor’s degree in lab sciences such as Biochemistry or similar.
- Previous experience (2-4 years) in a relevant role.
