Job Description:
Position Purpose:
Development of bacterial and yeast recombinant producents and cell banks for new biopharmaceutical products, development of QC methods, preparation of development plans and reports, experiments of methods qualification, methods transfer to Operations, continuous support of the products and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and perform gene engineering and expression research experiments.
- Development of analytical methods for cell banks quality analysis.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant fields and techniques.
- Present proposals and project updates when required.
- Qualify quality control analytical methods in accordance with ICH guidelines.
- Independently prepare documents using background in the field.
- Training of new colleagues and students.
- Contribution in others Enzyme Competence Center groups.
Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in molecular biology, microbiology, genetic, biochemistry, or related field.
- Understanding of relevant scientific fields.
- Demonstrated skill in laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Ability to analyze experimental data and explain conclusions.
- Desired technical skills in gene engineering, cell banking, DNA/RNA analysis, protein analysis, etc.
- Highly motivated and possess strong team skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range estimated for this position in Lithuania is €26,200.00–€39,250.00.
