Background
Bioscientists at Sygnature Discovery play essential roles in supporting and leading integrated client projects as well as developing and delivering customised biological screening assays for drug discovery. With continued growth, Sygnature Discovery is expanding its Bioscience department in Nottingham and Alderley Park.
About the Role
We are looking for Scientists with a PhD in a relevant Biology-related discipline to contribute to drug discovery projects. Whether you are transitioning from academia or are an experienced Senior Scientist, we welcome applicants with a passion for advancing drug discovery across different therapeutic areas.
Key requirements:
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related Biology discipline
- Strong scientific track record in drug discovery
- Knowledge of current drug discovery trends
- Ability to develop novel assays and interpret biological data
- Proactive troubleshooting skills and adoption of industry best practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
