A day in Bio MS&T
As a Senior Manager (m/f/d) MSAT Analytics, you will supervise laboratory staff and lead the establishment of the required analytical methods to support tech transfer activities to our new biopharmaceutical manufacturing site. You will work with the team and bring the scientific and managerial input required as the head of laboratory.
As an expert, you will be part of cross-functional teams – composed of e.g. MS&T, R&D, CMO and commercial operations – handling method implementations and support in troubleshooting activities and laboratory studies of the adjacent USP/DSP departments. You will take responsibility for GMP risk analysis for technology transfers and will lead optimization projects in the MS&T department. You will actively compose SOPs, project plans and reports, participate in equipment qualification and provide your input as subject matter expert for scientific requests.
With your professional and managerial skills, you will supervise interns in scientific projects and apprentices during their stay in the MS&T laboratories.

Qualification
- a M.Sc. or PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, (Bio)-Chemistry, Bio Engineering or related disciplines
- experience in either quality control or analytical development in an industrial environment
- leadership experience and a people oriented mindset
- deep technological and scientific understanding of protein chemistry and protein analytics
- deep knowledge in HPLC, icIEF, CGE, Protein A ELISA, HCP ELISA, Bioassay
- experience in common Quality Assurance practices and software (Glorya, Trackwise)
- excellent command of German and English (spoken and written)
- understanding of GMP requirements especially biopharmaceutical quality and regulatory requirements (EMA and FDA)
