Senior Scientist, Microbiology Laboratory
Job Description:
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Senior Scientist in our Microbiology Laboratory at our new facility in Dunboyne.
The key deliverables of this position include:
- Leading and acting as the primary point of contact for laboratory projects
- Owning project deliverables related to qualification of analytical equipment
- Coordinating method transfers for Microbiology testing
- Providing technical guidance, training, and resolving technical issues
- Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments
- Managing laboratory testing schedule and supporting general lab operations
- Participating in risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Degree qualification in a relevant field (Biological Sciences/Engineering)
- 5-7+ years of experience in a relevant academic or industry field
- Technical knowledge of Biologics drug substance manufacturing and microbiological testing techniques
- Ability to think logically, work in a team, and be a proactive communicator
