Application Scientist I(Junior/Pleno) will be responsible for conducting analytical, experimental, investigate and other fact-finding work using methods and practical laboratory processes and techniques to support research activities and meet experimental goals. Research and improve different process of extraction, synthesis, etc. and support application team to develop new prototypes using new ingredients from Innovation departments.

- Provide technical (R&D) support for internal customer about new projects to be able to offer customized projects in dispersion, chips, treated pigment or technical information about new products as Alga platform.
- Lead colors/algae projects as part of the technical team.
- Research new ingredients to provide better stability into new developments.
- Provide full information in DEVEX to create new codes, formulation and technical dossier.
- Send samples to external laboratories to be evaluate according project needs (safety, efficacy, toxicology, microbiology, heavy metals, etc).
- Understand common analytical tools such as UV-Vis, colorimeter, pH meter, DSC, FTIR, etc.
- Understand the key features and benefits of Sensient’s products. Provide technical information to elaborate ppt presentation based on customer’s desires, formulation, and processing requirements.
- Coordinate Sensient’s product sampling in a timely fashion with close cooperation from the sample lab.
- Provide technical information to application team formulate new products applicable to customer’s needs.
- Prepare Technical Development project reports, timeline, and lab work reports.
- Support shelf-life studies and provide support to marketing team to determine key value propositions for new technologies.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemical Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience of 3 to more years
- Advanced English language skill
