Job Description

The bioinformatics staff scientist role supports research programs by conducting moderately complex experiments, analysing and interpreting data, preparing results for publication and conferences, and writing progress reports and grant proposals. Candidates should use the listed duties and essential qualifications to assess whether their research background aligns with the position before applying.

It involves developing methods for feature extraction in medical imaging, molecular and clinical data to predict patient outcomes; building AI solutions for patient care; analysing multi-omics data (WES, WGS, targeted capture, RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, methylation seq, miRNA-seq, metabolomics, proteomics); using public data such as TCGA, GEO, TCIA and cBioPortal; and analysing rare genetic variants in familial diseases.
