Role Purpose

We are looking for a skilled Biocontrols Formulation Scientist to join our Formulation Group. The position will require you to apply your scientific understanding and practical biochemistry, formulation and analytical skills to the development of novel formulations and technologies for RNAi and microbial products.
Accountabilities

- You’ll plan and conduct experimental work programmes, so a love of practical work, good organisation skills, scientific curiosity and an ability to solve technical problems are all critical for the role
- You’ll be working as part of a team with experienced colleagues to prepare and characterise formulations in the lab.
- There may be opportunities to scale up your discoveries to support our field trial activities

Critical Knowledge

- Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, food science, pharmacology or similar related scientific subject.
- PhD in biotechnology, applied microbiology or biochemistry, bioengineering, food engineering pharmacology or related discipline
Critical Experience

- Relevant industrial experience formulating biomolecules such as peptides, enzymes, RNAi or microbial products
- Experience working independently and safely in a chemical or preferably, microbial or biochemistry lab environment

Additional Information
All candidates must have a knowledge of chemistry and biology to at least A-Level standard or equivalent as a minimum if these subjects did not form part of your higher-level studies.
