Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. seeks a Microbiological Lab Intern to join our QC Microbiological Lab team at the Monza site. You will support the team in completing microbiological testing and implementing incoming testing for excipients. Join us in delivering life-saving drug products to patients worldwide.
How will you make an impact?
As a Microbiological Lab Intern, you will work closely with the laboratory team Leader to ensure quality control and compliance with Annex 1 requirements. Your technical skills will contribute to the success of projects and testing protocols.
What will you do?
- Implement incoming testing for excipients.
- Perform utility testing
- Conduct microbiological laboratory analyses
- Maintain instruments, materials, and work environment
Skills
- MSc in biology or biotechnology preferred
- Experience as a microbiological analyst in a GMP production site
- Knowledge of aseptic laboratory techniques, environmental monitoring, bioburden, and more
- Proficiency in Italian and English
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills
