Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a Product Specialist Bioinformatics to join the Clinical Sequencing Division. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a global level, providing data analysis support for next-generation sequencing platforms.

The Product Specialist Bioinformatics will play a crucial role in collaborating with customers, field support teams, and internal development teams to address software product usage and data interpretation issues. A Day in the Life:
- Collaborate with field support teams to assist customers with bioinformatics challenges
- Act as a liaison between field teams and internal development teams to resolve customer cases
- Capture customer feedback to influence product development
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions
- Deepen understanding of software analysis pipelines
- Participate in software reviews
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics, molecular biology, biochemistry, computer science, or equivalent (Master’s or PhD preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of bioinformatics and data analysis experience, including working with next-generation sequencing data
- Skills: Ability to communicate bioinformatics concepts effectively, experience with customer interactions, familiarity with Linux and scripting
- Traits: Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced team environment
