Job Description:
We are seeking an Associate Scientist who will play a pivotal role in supporting R&D cell culture needs, including cell line inventory management, expansion, quality control, and other related activities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining various mammalian cell lines for inventory expansion
- Overseeing general lab maintenance
- Using software to manage tissue culture services and workflows
- Supporting cell line engineering projects
- Working with automated cell culture and/or cell line storage systems
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related field
- 0-3+ years of relevant laboratory experience
- Extensive experience in tissue culture
- Experience with cell line engineering using lentiviral and CRISPR/Cas9 technology (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Skills & Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative nature in a fast-paced team environment
- General lab maintenance and sterile technique proficiency
- Operating automated cell line storage equipment (advantageous)
