UAB Researcher Job Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Med – Nephrology, is in search of a Researcher to join their team for this UAB Researcher Job. This position will be responsible for maintaining the transgenic mouse colonies, as well as assisting with histological analyses and conducting flow cytometry experiments.

Key Responsibilities for UAB Researcher Job include:
- In this job, UAB Researcher will independently lead and execute research projects.
- Design studies and analyze data with a high degree of expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Manage project timelines and contribute to grant writing.
- Maintain transgenic mouse colonies.
- Assist with histological analyses and flow cytometry experiments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
UAB Researcher Job Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in a related field OR Bachelor’s degree in related field and two (2) years of related experience OR Associate’s degree in related field and four (4) years of related experience required, biology degree preferred.
- High School diploma or GED and six (6) years of related experience required.
- Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Required Skills For UAB Researcher Job

- Proficiency in histology and flow cytometry.
- Strong analytical skills.

Salary Range: $50,050 – $81,330
