Job Details:
This position is responsible for being a technical resource and program management for Tyson Foods laboratories. The Lab Services Specialist will maintain and develop laboratory policies and documents, control document/records, perform audits, assist with LabWare LIMS user support training and implementations, and be a knowledge resource for operations and quality processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelors Degree or higher in a related field or Associate Degree with five years of specific laboratory experience. Prefer college level courses in Chemistry Microbiology Food Science Biology and Physical Sciences.
- Experience: Minimum two years of laboratory experience; 5 years preferred; demonstrated specific Tyson ISO laboratory skills preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer Skills: Standard computer skills with a strong aptitude for learning.
- Special Skills: Excellent technical writing, organizing, and planning skills.
- Supervisory: Yes. This position may be responsible for supervising 2+ Team Members.
Work schedule may include weekends and holidays.
