QA Job at Lilly – Job Description

The Quality Assurance Specialist โ€“ Manufacturing Compliance (2nd Shift) will provide QA support to manufacturing operations during off-shift hours. This includes on-the-floor support, compliance guidance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory readiness and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide QA support during second shift/weekend hours.
  • Conduct on-the-floor support, GDP guidance, batch record review, and comment resolution.
  • Perform QA walkthroughs, data integrity reviews, and assess deviations or CAPAs.
  • Review and approve SOPs, reports, equipment/method qualifications, and batch tickets.
  • Support inspections, technology transfers, and product launches.
  • Ensure sustainable compliance with regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Act as a compliance resource for cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, validation, and quality control.

QA Job at Lilly – Educational Qualifications

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Biology, or related science (or relevant work experience).

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
