Johnson & Johnson careers- Role:

As a Lentivirus Manufacturing Operator, you will perform critical operations in cell and viral vector production, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and cGMP standards.

Johnson & Johnson careers- Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute process unit operations per SOPs and batch records.
  • Maintain accurate production data using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Perform cell culture, shake flask and wave bioreactor operations, and cell counting (Vi-Cell).
  • Operate chromatography (TFF, DF), GE AKTA systems, microfiltration/ultrafiltration, purification, and sterile filling.
  • Set up and run single-use bioreactor operations, including sampling, monitoring, and disassembly.
  • Assist in manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Handle virus and human-derived materials safely within containment areas.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma with 1–2 years of relevant experience OR an Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, quality, or testing preferred.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations and aseptic environments is preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to lift ≥25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Availability to work day shifts with schedule flexibility as required.

Salary & Benefits

  • Base pay range: $40,000 – $64,400.
  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus based on individual and company performance.
