About the Role
At Johnson & Johnson, weโre reimagining health through innovation โ from preventing diseases to developing smarter, more personal treatments. As a QC CRS Analyst, youโll perform biochemical testing (ELISA, qPCR, Flow Cytometry, etc.) for cell and gene therapy products, ensuring compliance with GMP standards. Youโll work within a collaborative team supporting product release, method validation, and analytical technology transfers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct biological assays and flow cytometry testing.
- Perform data reviews and document work in eLIMS, MES, Empower, etc.
- Support analytical method validation and new product introduction.
- Maintain instruments, manage lab supplies, and handle change controls.
- Participate in investigations, CAPAs, and internal audits.
Qualifications for Quality Control Jobs
Required:
- Bachelorโs in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
- 2+ yearsโ experience in cGMP Quality Control or Biopharma lab.
- Hands-on experience with flow cytometry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Experience in CAR-T / Cell & Gene Therapy labs.
- Knowledge of qPCR, ELISA, and cell culture techniques.
- Familiarity with USP/EP/JP guidelines, Six Sigma, or Lean tools.
- Work experience in BSL-2 environments.
Additional Details for Quality Control Jobs
- May require occasional overtime (nights/weekends).
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs and perform lab-based tasks.
- Up to 5% domestic travel.
