Educational Requirements for the QC Role:
- Bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, or Biology
- Intermediate understanding of cGMP principles
- Experience in pharmaceutical or aseptic environments preferred
Key Responsibilities of the QC Role:
- Perform environmental monitoring in aseptic cleanrooms
- Maintain Level 3 gowning qualification and work extended hours in cleanroom environments
- Assist in maintaining laboratory/media supplies and QC equipment
- Support investigations for environmental excursions and revise SOPs, trend reports, deviations, and corrective actions
- Conduct water sampling and gas testing
- Execute aseptic process validations, EM performance qualifications, and gowning qualifications
- Inspect aseptic process qualification units
- Maintain compliance with required training and assist in training new analysts
Skills Required for the QC Role:
- Knowledge of cGMP principles
- Experience with aseptic gowning and cleanroom procedures
- Understanding of basic laboratory instruments and aseptic techniques
- Ability to record accurate test results and maintain raw data
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Experience in QC and environmental monitoring (preferred)
