Analyst Job Description
Analyst job responsibilities at AstraZeneca involve processing clinical study documents for anonymization and pseudo anonymization to support Health Canada PRCI processes, EMA Policy 0070, and other regulatory disclosure requirements. The Clinical Transparency & Data Sharing team within the CMO office leads AstraZeneca’s global clinical trial transparency initiatives. This bioinformatics job requires collaboration with global study teams to deliver submission-ready anonymized clinical documents for regulatory teams.

Essential
- BSc in bioinformatics or technical life sciences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent collaboration and problem-solving abilities

- Awareness of Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), CSPs, SAPs, and TLFs
- Understanding of data risk management and anonymization

- System testing experience or willingness to learn

Key Responsibilities – Analyst Job
Analyst job duties include the following responsibilities:
- Create anonymized clinical documents using established SOPs and best practices
- Contribute to anonymization reports for generated reports
- Serve as a system expert for anonymization technology tools
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for key systems
- Understand clinical study lifecycle data and document workflows
- Collaborate with Biometrics Data Operations Data De-Identification Team
- Maintain compliance with AstraZeneca data privacy and regulatory policies
- Support training material development with direct managers
- Ensure adherence to clinical operations, quality, and privacy requirements
- Perform meticulous quality checks on deliverables
- Identify process improvement opportunities and delivery efficiencies
- Support all Clinical Trial Transparency activities when assigned
