Johnson & Johnson is seeking a motivated and curious Medical Affairs Intern to join the ESO team. In this role, the intern will assist in building a more harmonized, simpler, and performance-driven way of working across Therapeutic Areas, supporting cancer care improvements across countries. The internship will involve contributing to three connected workstreams:
- Help harmonize tactical planning by mapping how different Therapeutic Areas plan today, identifying simplification opportunities, and shaping a common, lightweight planning standard.
- Support the design of a pragmatic performance management and governance approach, including co-developing an ESO MAF scorecard and proposing governance rituals to embed it in leadership routines.
- Help evolve MAF ways of working into a living “MAF brain,” consolidating core materials, tools, and best practices for Medical Leads and proposing a structure to keep this knowledge base useful across TAs.
Throughout the internship, the selected candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership, gaining valuable exposure to how a Medical Affairs organization reduces fragmentation, steers performance transparently, and builds reusable assets that scale.
