Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing product Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and other product-release documents to ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Managing controlled SOPs so they meet ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Handling incoming material and working with key stakeholders to ensure timely testing and release of material.
  • Participating in material non-conformance investigations and following up with procurement on supplier investigation outcomes.
  • Completing other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent.

Required Skills

  • Familiar with reading and interpreting SDS-PAGE, LC-MS, HPLC and other protein detection reports.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good teamwork skills.

Additional Information

Key Learnings: By the end of the internship, candidates are expected to:

  • Develop a good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and the role of a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Gain hands-on experience in critical material management, document control and product release processes.
  • Enhance problem-solving by conducting non-conformance investigations using quality tools such as Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
