Job Description

The internship is designed to give hands-on protein quality-control laboratory experience in a regulated biotech production/support setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concentration testing, SDS-PAGE, Western blot analysis, HPLC and endotoxin testing of protein samples.
  • Summarizing, analyzing and processing experimental data, including analyzing and sorting unqualified data and conducting follow-up experimental operations.
  • Writing experimental records.
  • Formulating and updating SOPs and solidifying work experience.
  • Managing instruments and carrying out required maintenance.
  • Completing other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemistry or related courses.

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with SDS-PAGE, Western blot and other protein-detection operations.
  • Good troubleshooting skills.
  • A strong sense of achievement with resilience under pressure.
  • Teamwork and strong verbal/written communication.

Additional Information

Availability for 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with 2 rest days that may not always fall on weekends.
