Basic Qualifications for Abbott Biology Job Vacancy
- B.S. in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology or a related field is required
- Hands-on experience in molecular biology is required
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills
- Experience working under design control and following GLP
- Understanding of the procedures, processes and record-keeping
- Abbott Biology Job Vacancy Experience in QC method development is desired
- Hands-on experience with PCR, RT-PCR and quantitative PCR assay development and optimization a plus

Responsibilities

- Conduct QC tests following test protocols and procedures in compliance with quality system
- Perform QC tests independently
- Participate in QC method development and validation studies
- Work as a member of a QC team, as well as on independent development projects
- Identify basic technical issues, out-of-specifications test results, instrument malfunctions and method issues

- Perform laboratory support functions and maintain work area in compliance with quality procedures.
