Job Description

The Associate Scientist will play a vital role in seasoning development, product testing, and commercialization for industrial customers. This position involves hands-on experimentation, ingredient exploration, and data interpretation to ensure high-quality product performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support innovative seasoning development through concept ideation, bench-top testing, and commercialization.
  • Provide product development support for industrial customers.
  • Design and manage experiments to test new seasoning applications.
  • Assess and investigate new ingredients and technologies.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data effectively.
  • Develop expertise in seasoning ingredients, their vendors, and performance attributes.

Required Qualifications

BS and/or MS in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

MS degree in Food Science or related field.

Experience and Skills

  • Ability to interpret scientific, sensory, and analytical data.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and customers.
  • High ownership, professional commitment, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent working ability with strong innovative thinking.
  • Demonstrated passion for food and culinary interest.
  • Experience with SAP, product formulary, and retrieval systems.

  • Familiarity with sensory testing and its application in product development.
