Job Description
The Quality Control Analyst I will support the Microbial Control team in performing quality testing for in-process materials, final product drug lots, and customer stability studies. This role ensures timely and accurate results to meet manufacturing demands while maintaining compliance with cGMP standards and Data Integrity principles. The position follows a Sunday through Wednesday schedule, working from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct microbial testing for In-Process, Lot Release, and Stability studies.
- Perform Utility and HVAC monitoring and sampling across the facility.
- Operate laboratory computer systems and apply Microsoft Office applications.
- Apply company policies and procedures to complete semi-routine tasks.
- Identify deviations from standard practices and raise them appropriately.
- Analyze data and situations of moderate scope, reviewing identifiable factors.
- Uphold Data Integrity principles in all work, following Lonza guidelines.
- Work a fixed schedule: Sunday through Wednesday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related science field preferred.
- 0–4 years of industry experience, ideally in a cGMP-regulated environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to interpret data independently and with mentorship.
- Emphasis on precision and attentiveness in completing tasks.
- Good judgment within defined procedures and practices.
