Educational Qualification for Biogen PhD Jobs:

The position requires a PhD degree in Biological Sciences or a related discipline and at least 2 years of relevant postdoctoral laboratory experience in industry or academia.

Qualifications Essential for Biogen PhD Jobs

  • The ideal candidate has demonstrated a track record of high-quality productivity and rigour in pathology or neuroscience research.
  • A background in translational neuroscience with a focus on neurodegeneration and/or neuroinflammation is highly desirable.
  • Established knowledge of human neuroanatomy and neuropathology, and skills in histology, immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization, will be advantageous but can also be acquired in this role.
  • A candidate for Biogen PhD Jobs must have Basic experience in cellular and biochemical science such as standard molecular biology and protein biochemistry techniques (e.g. DNA cloning, protein purification, real-time PCR, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, enzymatic assays) is required.
  • Prior experience in one or more of the following innovative technologies is desirable: single-cell transcriptomics, spatial transcriptomics, Slide-seq/FISSEQ/seqFISH/MERFISH, proteomics, FACS/CyTOF, imaging mass cytometry or MIBI.
  • Highly effective communication skills and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision in managing projects and priorities are essential.
  • Capacity to work in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment is required.
