Key Responsibilities:

Assess specimen acceptability for testing following established criteria.

Perform routine and complex technical procedures per SOPs.

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.

Make technical decisions on testing and problem-solving.

Prepare, evaluate, and test reagents or controls.

Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care.

Perform preventive maintenance and document quality control.
-
Replenish supplies and assist with specimen processing when needed.

Maintain a safe laboratory environment and follow PPE protocols.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology (or meet CLIA/State regulatory requirements).

Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience OR MLS degree.

ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Strong computer skills; experience with Laboratory Information Systems is a plus.

Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.

Must pass a standardized color vision screen.

Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts when needed.
