Job Summary:
Strand is seeking an Associate Scientist II for Vector Engineering to join its dynamic team in Boston. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a scientifically motivated individual to make a significant contribution to innovative research projects and play a key role in shaping the company’s future strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Executing molecular cloning projects and maintaining cell lines.
- Testing synthetic genetic constructs in mammalian cells using assays like flow cytometry.
- Supporting high-volume requests and assisting with data analysis and reporting.
- Working collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in biological sciences or related field.
- 2-4 years of research experience in biotechnology or related disciplines.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
- Hands-on experience with mRNA in vitro transcription is a plus.
