Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technologist as part of the Lonza Careers to join our Cell Banking team in Slough. The role involves creating and maintaining cell banks of mammalian cell lines within a cGMP clean room environment. Cell banks serve as the foundation for manufacturing clinical products at Lonza Biologics’ sites worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cell culture, maintaining cell banks to GMP standards
- Laboratory maintenance
- Stock solution and medium preparation
- Inventory management of frozen vials
- Report writing and documentation preparation
- Other duties as assigned
What the Company is looking for:
- BSc in Biology / Biotechnology or a similar Scientific area required
- MSc desirable
- Applicants fresh from university or with relevant industry experience will be considered
