Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing environmental monitoring on classified areas and utility systems. Depending on the area of assignment, responsibilities will include collecting and/or testing environmental, utility, raw material, or validation samples utilizing specific test methods. Candidates must adhere to Grifols’ Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to complete work safely, accurately, and efficiently. Other duties may include participating in projects like standard and control preparations, method validations, and comparison studies.
Requirements
Assistant Level: AA or BS degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science, biology, chemistry, or related field, along with 6-12 months of applicable laboratory experience.
Associate Level: AA or BS degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science, biology, chemistry, or related field, and 2 years of applicable laboratory experience.
Additional Information
Work environment involves exposure to biological fluids, potential infectious organisms, extreme cold, and office/laboratory equipment. Personal protective equipment required.
