Job Description
As a Production Technician II at Novartis, you will perform daily manufacturing activities related to Radioligand Therapies. This includes preparation of materials, cleaning and sterilization of isolators, adherence to batch records, and execution of production under strict aseptic conditions. You will contribute to a safe work environment while ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Grade A isolators, ensuring compliance with radiation safety guidelines.
- Complete all required training on SOPs, aseptic techniques, and safety procedures.
- Perform cleaning and sterilization of equipment and production areas.
- Conduct routine and dynamic environmental monitoring.
- Prepare and track materials according to batch monitoring systems.
- Document production activities, training records, and shipping documentation.
- Support a culture of compliance and safety through proactive communication.
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends and unplanned overtime, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science strongly preferred; OR at least 2 years of experience in a cGMP/aseptic environment.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing (preferred in drug product filling operations).
- Current Novartis associates must have at least 12 months of experience as a Production Technician with RLT experience.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and FDA aseptic manufacturing regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments with PPE and pass vision/color vision requirements.
- Ability to lift to 35 pounds; no use of jewelry, makeup, or other restricted items in production areas.
