Job Description:
The Associate Scientist, Cell Therapy Process Development, will support the development and optimization of robust, scalable, and affordable CAR-T manufacturing processes. This is a lab-based role that requires hands-on expertise in experimental design, execution, troubleshooting, and data analysis, contributing directly to advancements in next-generation cell therapy manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute scale-down and full-scale cell therapy process development experiments.
- Compile, analyze, and interpret experimental data using statistical methods.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare detailed Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) entries.
- Author experimental protocols and development reports.
- Troubleshoot routine technical or operational challenges and drive continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support fast turnaround timelines.
- Assist in lab maintenance and inventory of reagents and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BS or MS degree in Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or related field.
- 2โ5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong background in experimental design, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with statistical tools (JMP preferred).
- Proven skills in technical writing and thorough documentation.
- Hands-on experience with mammalian or primary cell culture.
- Prior experience in process development, cell therapy manufacturing, or process characterization is preferred.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, including occasional weekend work.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting salary range: $82,000 โ $102,000 annually, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
