Job Description
This Level II Lab Analyst is responsible for conducting testing following established procedures using GLP and GMP under the supervision of the Study Director. They record data, maintain sample traceability, and alert the Study Director to any unforeseen circumstances. This role reports to the “People on Demand” (POD) section, where Analysts rotate among teams to provide expertise and support.
Experience & Education
Required:
- 1-2+ years of relevant Production Laboratory Testing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field for BSc Life Science Job
- Willingness to adapt to consistent change and rotate teams frequently
Preferred (Not required):
- Demonstrated experience cross-training with other sections for Life Science Job
- Rotational assignments supporting efforts within assigned section or other teams
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting sections requiring additional testing and test support
- Rotating among teams and projects to ensure balanced support
Essential Duties
Scientific/General:
- Perform testing under supervision
- Order supplies and media for Life Science Job
- Ensure testing is conducted according to approved procedures
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional laboratory environment where employees are expected to follow Biosafety and Chemical Hygiene policies. The role may involve exposure to biological and chemical hazards.
Physical Requirements
The role requires various physical movements and the ability to work while wearing personal protective equipment. Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
