Job Summary

As an ETCT Assay Scientist, you will work within the Technical Lab Services (TLS) division of PerkinElmer, which is embedded at a leading pharmaceutical customer site focused on oncology. You’ll contribute to vital R&D initiatives supporting a broad biotherapeutic portfolio. The role demands hands-on laboratory experience in cell culture, assay development, and data analysis, and offers growth through mentorship and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine lab research, including cell culture, reagent preparation, and assay support
  • Execute biological assays using manual and automated systems
  • Analyze assay data and apply quality control standards for reporting
  • Track assay performance and support method optimization
  • Participate in scientific team meetings, present data, and propose innovations
  • Support the development of SOPs, risk assessments, and best practice protocols
  • Promote health and safety compliance and operate within quality standards
  • Work independently while aligning with team priorities and project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSc in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field
  • 1+ year of laboratory experience with demonstrated expertise in bioassays
  • Strong knowledge of cell culture techniques and aseptic processing
  • Familiarity with automated assay platforms
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to interpret and communicate scientific data effectively
