A Day in the Life
This internship role at Bunge will focus on Quality & Food Safety. If you have a passion for food science and quality assurance and seek hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting, join us as a Quality & Food Safety Intern. This position provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to a real-world food business environment, collaborating on various quality and food safety initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Validation of microbial sampling/testing techniques and procedures
- Thermal inactivation validation studies
- Development and review of laboratory and sampling Standard Operating Procedures
- Customer complaint reduction initiatives and Root Cause Analysis
- Training on finished product quality and production optimization
- Participation in internal audits and updates to Food Safety Plans
Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in: Food Science, Biology / Microbiology Or a related life science field.
