About the Role
As a Clinical Research Technician, you’ll be directly involved in clinical pharmacology studies—ensuring trial protocols are followed, participants are cared for, and data is collected accurately. This is a high-impact position that offers the opportunity to work with Fortrea and biotech leaders on cutting-edge drug development.
Clinical Research Job at Fortrea – Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical measurements (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, etc.)
- Record and prepare ECGs and Holter monitor data
- Collect and process biological samples per study protocols
- Monitor dietary compliance and subject well-being
- Assist with participant check-ins, screening, and study prep
- Prepare rooms and clinical equipment for trials
- Respond to emergencies using clinical judgment
- Support Study Coordinators with documentation and workflow
- Work rotating shifts, including weekends or overnight as needed
Clinical Research Job at Fortrea – Qualifications & Skills
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences
- Considered: Relevant job experience instead of a degree
- 1–2 years of clinical research or CNA / Med Tech experience preferred
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, regulated environment
- Strong teamwork, communication, and technology skills
- Fluent in English (spoken, written, and read)
- Flexible for rotating schedules and shift coverage
