About the Role

CommonSpirit Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Woodland, CA. In this role, you’ll coordinate laboratory operations and perform advanced testing to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform, analyze, and verify complex chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests.
  • Coordinate technical operations and supervise laboratory activities.
  • Maintain testing accuracy, sample integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure quality control.
  • Train new staff and support laboratory inspections and audits.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Demonstrate competency across all patient groups: neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Completion of a 1-year clinical laboratory internship.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) or equivalent licensure.
