Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Molecular Biology Research Fellow Vacancy
A full-time post-doctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Birgit Knoechel in the Department of Pediatric Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our translational and basic research efforts. Our research focuses on
1) understanding epigenetic dependencies and heterogeneity in leukemia and how they relate to drug resistance with a particular focus on immunotherapies,
2) investigating epigenetic/transcriptional rewiring in cancer and how they relate to novel immune targets,
3) exploiting these to develop novel therapeutic approaches for translation into clinical care. The fellow will interact and collaborate closely with other laboratory-based scientists and computational biologists across the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the BROAD Institute and will be involved in a series of research activities including cellular and molecular cancer biology; cancer epigenetics, and immunology.
