Key Responsibilities:

Lead process development projects for high-moisture foods.

Define process designs and optimize settings with engineering teams.

Collaborate with food scientists to improve formulations and ingredient selection.

Drive quality improvements through optimized processes and thermal steps.

Apply experimental design and interpret data for actionable insights.

Support trials and commercialization at PepsiCo manufacturing facilities.

Independently organize resources and conduct experiments.

Perform analytical measurements such as moisture, pH, color, and viscosity (training provided).

Communicate and influence effectively across teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

B.S. in Food Engineering, Food Science, or related field.

Knowledge of heat transfer, mass transfer, fluid flow, and unit operations.

Understanding of food science, chemistry, and ingredient functionality.

1–2 years of research experience or 2+ food processing internships.

Familiarity with experimental design and product development.

Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

Highly organized with excellent project management abilities.

Adaptable, motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Available to work during standard hours in Plano, TX.
