Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled Scientist to join our CRISPR-X team in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will contribute to pioneering gene editing therapies for human diseases, working on cutting-edge research projects aimed at developing innovative genome editing modalities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in gene editing technologies
- Ph.D. in biology, bioengineering, or related field
- 0-5 years of professional experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and molecular biology expertise
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with protein or RNA engineering.

Knowledge of delivery technologies (transfection, LNPs, viral vectors).

Familiarity with high-throughput screening and primary hepatocytes.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, design, and optimize next-gen gene editing research projects.

Execute and interpret molecular biology techniques: cloning, qPCR/ddPCR, NGS, RNA/DNA analysis, and cell-based assays.

Present experimental data to internal and external stakeholders.

Review scientific literature to identify innovative approaches.
