Job Description
As with many protein production jobs, the Research Associate will be responsible for running multi-litre recombinant expression campaigns in bacteria, which includes tasks such as transformation, culture, induction, harvest, and lysis. The role also involves designing and executing preparative purification processes on ÄKTA FPLC, including affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion, and mixed-mode techniques. The successful candidate will deliver milligram-to-gram quantities of pure, well-characterized protein and support in-depth characterization efforts.
