Job Details: This position is primarily responsible for supporting day-to-day Quality Control activities, which may include but are not limited to GMP activities, Assay Development, or supporting client and/or internal company projects while following applicable SOPs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on diverse client projects with different test methods and analysis of data.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, management, and departments.
- Support the execution of Quality Control Method Development and GMP release testing.
- Conduct routine and non-routine testing while compiling accurate and valid results.
- Assist with developing methods and procedures for Quality Control.
- Perform timely completion of QC test methods, including flow cytometry analysis, Nucleic Acid Extraction, qPCR, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, etc.
- Maintain inventory of QC materials and lab supplies.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or cGMP/cGTP environment.
- Working knowledge of quality systems and regulations.
- Hands-on experience in Flow Cytometry and biopharmaceutical Quality Control.
- Proficient in laboratory techniques and MS Office.
Skills:
Proficient in QC test methods and use of lab equipment, including Flow Cytometry, qPCR, ELISA, and cell-based assays.
Physical Demands:
The employee must be able to meet physical demands, including walking, handling equipment, talking, and lifting to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
The job is performed in a clean laboratory setting using standard medical and research equipment.
Compensation:
The hiring range is expected to fall between $31.58 – $37.11/hour. Salary will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, and qualifications. Additionally, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package.
