Givaudan Biotech Internship Description
In this Givaudan biotech internship, the Biotechnology Intern (m/f/d) in the Science & Technology division will assist in process development for flavor production. Responsibilities include contributing to foundational research with plant cell cultures and performing, characterizing, and optimizing bioprocesses such as enzymatic reactions or microbial fermentations at both lab and pilot scales.
Eligibility Criteria
The ideal candidate is a graduate with a passion for hands-on lab work and a desire to learn and grow within a team of scientists and engineers.
Required Skills
- Bachelor or Master in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or comparable field
- Experience working with cells under sterile conditions is required
- Previous experience with plant cell cultures is considered a strong asset
- Strong technical affinity and skilled in equipment handling
- Ambitious and results-oriented
- Curious to develop new and unprecedented routes towards technical solutions
