IFF Hiring Microbiologist – Microbiology Candidates Apply Online
They are currently looking for a Microbiologist to join our second shift team (3:30 pm-11:50 pm, Monday through Friday) in Dayton, NJ. As part of the Quality Control department, the Microbiologist will be responsible for testing finished products and raw materials. This position will execute microbiological analyses based on standard operating procedures and will be responsible for a combination of sample preparation, microbiological test interpretation, and reporting in support of production. All analyses will need to be executed under strict deadlines.

Required Experience
โข Associates degree in Microbiology or science-related field
โข Minimum of 5 years of experience in a micro-laboratory environment, preferably in the chemical industry
Required Skills
โข Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
โข Experience using SAP
โข Ability to execute analyses and achieve results

โข Receiving and preparing raw, in-process, and finished product samples for microbiological analysis
โข Performing microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products using agar plates and 3M Petrifilm
โข Preparing and maintaining laboratory reagents and medium
โข Performing swab testing of production equipment and facilities
โข Performing water and air testing
โข Cleaning and sterilizing lab equipment
โข Operating testing equipment (Scales, Autoclave, Masterclave, Pipettes, Vidas)
โข Performing other duties as assigned
