The Role:

Moderna is seeking a motivated Research Associate (RA) with a strong background in immunology and spectral flow cytometry to join the Therapeutics Translation Research (TxTR), Experimental Immunology group. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assay development, execution, and data generation to support key program and project decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute high-parameter spectral flow cytometry assays
  • Develop and implement sample processing workflows
  • Analyze experiments independently and troubleshoot as needed
  • Act as a technical lead for cytometry assay development
  • Collaborate across teams for regulatory submissions and presentations

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Immunology, Biology, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with primary human immune cells and functional assays
  • Expertise in spectral and conventional flow cytometry
  • Proficiency in high-parameter flow cytometry assay development

Additional Skills:

  • Experience in immunoassays and cell processing
  • Proficiency in flow cytometry data analysis
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
