Job Description- Laboratory Scientist

As a Laboratory Scientist, you will perform molecular biology techniques, including single-cell RNAseq and spatial transcriptomics, ensuring quality control and method development to meet client requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diagnostic tests that improve patient care globally while gaining experience in molecular biology jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform molecular biology techniques for research and diagnostics.
  • Conduct quality control on samples to ensure accuracy.
  • Support method development to meet growing client requirements.
  • Apply single-cell RNAseq and spatial transcriptomics techniques.
  • Organize and manage a high-volume, varied workload with precision.
  • Collaborate with multifunctional teams to meet project timelines.
  • Maintain compliance with laboratory standards and protocols.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in laboratory workflows.

Qualifications- Laboratory Scientist

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Biology, Molecular Biology, or related Life Sciences discipline.
  • Practical laboratory experience in method development.
  • Experience in single-cell RNAseq and/or spatial transcriptomics.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Eligible to work full-time in the UK with no restrictions.
