Job Title: Associate Scientist I, Formulation Development
Location: Hybrid – San Diego, CA and Remote

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated individual eager to work as an Associate Scientist within Avidity’s Technical Development and Operations (TD&O) department, specifically in the Analytical and Formulation group. The role will focus on clinical and commercial formulation development of AOC drug products and substances, as well as supporting developability assessments and in-use compatibility studies.
What You Will Contribute:
- Conduct formulation stability studies
- Perform developability assessments of protein biologics
- Support process development activities
- Train lab personnel
What We Seek:
A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of industrial experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
What We Will Provide to You:
The base salary range for this role is $87,000 to $113,000 annually, with competitive benefits that include stock options, wellness programs, and opportunities for learning and development.
